HISTORY: -Born into a family of magic users, but didn't show their magic
-diagnosed with auditory processing issues as a toddler
-had a grandmother with the Sight, it skipped a generation and hit him
-raised in Beverly Hills by Jewish parents, dad was a director, mom did film scores
-had a childhood tutor who died of an aneurysm when he was 10
-worked with another tutor as well as hearing therapist through his teens
-went to college and became a social worker, it was bad news for the Sight
-left social work and currently in film school to follow in his parents' footsteps

PERSONALITY: What makes your character tick? Try to make this at least 500 words or three to four decent paragraphs.

POWERS/ABILITIES: Jamie has the Sight. He can see the future, but this is a result of interbreeding with fae and humans are really not built to do this, so it inflicts neurological damage on him. It's responsible for his hearing disorder as well as what boils down to chronic concussion symptoms if he lets it run unchecked for awhile -- certain drugs can block it, as well as certain activities. It's in the fae's interests to leave him with it, since it will make him seek out sex and he will not want it back if it's taken. His Sight is attuned to high emotion, and can often be triggered by touch, but it can conceivably happen anytime.

Jamie has something called the Sight, which allows him to see the future (and very occasionally the present or past). This is independent of what a character knows or believes to be true, so if someone had, for example, false memories implanted, the Sight will show him what really happened, not the memory. He tends to See moments of very intense emotion, so typically the best or worst moments of someone's life. If he Sees something present tense that's bad, he's not super likely to attempt a rescue, but he is likely to try to be there to help with the aftermath.

Part of the Sight is that Jamie has pretty strong intuition. He's not a human lie detector or anything, but I often take extra time over his tags thinking through what information he has and what connections he might draw from it, and if I'm getting it right he should read as a lot more perceptive than the average human.

In theory, the Sight is bulletproof; in practice, shit happens when you're RPing and we're gonna go ahead and say Duplicity's nature is fucking with the Sight a little bit, so I'm cool with visions happening that don't end up coming to pass. He will Foretell most things because a Seeing will stick in his head forever if not Foretold, so if he has a Seeing, someone is probably going to hear about it. So basically:
